Leadership = Leverage + Legacy


L3 (Leadership = Leverage + Legacy) is a framework for structuring a corporate leadership program, based on the following principles:

  • There is no formulaic prescription for good leadership
  • Effective leaders develop their own style of leadership that takes into account their individual personality, skill sets and environment
  • Good leadership offers "leverage" by impacting the behavior of a large number of people
  • Good leadership offers "legacy" whereby the impact outlasts the tenure of the leader

L-Cubed has been used to build leadership programs in multiple corporations. Planar Systems used a year long L-Cubed program to develop 20 leaders each year for five years. It formed the basis of the company's leadership culture.

Our leadership programs:

  • Are uniquely customized for each client.
  • Require that the leaders of the client company actively participate in the development and execution.
  • Include only participants from the client's company, enabling the use of company specific, real life, proprietary examples.
