L3 Comments: L3 is an incredible educational journey through the roles and
responsibilities of a CEO and the importance of developing and maintaining a
Leadership Agenda. Balaji's style of educating
participants is engaging and full of real life experiences that define the
importance of the L3 teachings. I highly recommend the L3
program to any CEO who wishes to learn how to be a better leader.
L3 Comments: Beyond the obvious cross company personal contacts that were established by L3. My oppurtunity to participate gave me the confidence to risk to win. Not in a reckless way, but in understanding that certain rewards require risk and that can be managed. As an example, L3 is largely responsible for me being in Oregon, a risk that I managed with satisfying rewards. I learned that leadership doesn't just happen, that it can and should be personal, that one can choose to be a leader. Finally, I learned that following your hearts desires takes deliberate action. While these lessons may sound personal, the impact reaches far into my professional career.

L3 Comments: My big take away from L Cubed was My Leadership Agenda. In essence it is the new
direction of Ceramo that encompasses my Vision for the Company.My Leadership Agenda has been
modified several times since L Cubed, as I refined the direction that I needed
to take Ceramo to maximize its results in the future.Most importantly, it provided
me a document I could present to my associates so that they all know where we
are headed and why.Their input into My Vision of
Ceramo was critical in refining the process so that My Leadership Agenda is a
shared effort by all associates.That made it into a team
effort and that is the best way to achieve great success.
By applying the principles I
learned at L Cubed my Company has changed dramatically. Our best future was not as a
manufacturer of red clay flowerpots, that we had been since our genesis in
1945.Instead we have become the
Master Distributor for several other manufacturers.We have broadened our
approach and appeal to become The Company with "Pottery for Every
Lifestyle".This distinguishes Ceramo
from all of our competitors and makes us the unique provider of pottery and
garden ware in the USA.This move also changes our
sales pattern from a seasonal business to a year around business that is always
busy. Our new approach opened the
door to many new types of customers and many more customers.Thus, L Cubed was the pivotal
point in re-engineering my Company for the best uses of its resources, its
people and it products.
